It’s so nice of you to stop by. My name is Haley. I was named after a character Kelly Ripa played on All My Children (not the comet). My father was given preference on the final pick; although Maude, as a feasible option, was quickly kiboshed. In an alternate life I’m breaking into a pet shop to liberate the canaries, took my violin lessons seriously, and regularly wear my retainer. Ultimately my mother liked Hayley Vaughn’s spunk. So it was decided. In my humble opinion, my goth phase should have come as no surprise. I digress.

I’m native to Aspen and currently based in San Francisco. My interests are shaped by a lifelong exposure to travel, antiques, and hospitality, and I’m especially drawn to heritage properties and environments where continuity is carefully preserved. Growing up between Colorado and California, I absorbed the Aspen ethos that a life well lived cultivates the mind, body, and spirit. My intention is to walk by faith, cultivate joie de vivre, and remain attentive to grace in fleeting moments.

I believe healthy societies are sustained by strong institutions and voluntary civic engagement. My early involvement in 4-H introduced me to its enduring pledge of clearer thinking, greater loyalty, larger service, and better living. Those principles continue to shape my commitment to the stewardship of meaningful places and vulnerable communities; historic preservation, humanitarian relief, and conservation of the natural landscape. My involvement includes the Junior League of San Francisco and participation in cultural patronage and community-based initiatives.

I once read that bread and water can easily be turned into toast and tea.

Thank you for being here and taking a bite. Have a seat, stay a week.

Warmest Regards,

Haley Jean-Marie Ameral
