Winter Fashion Inspiration: CBK

I present to you my winter fashion inspiration: the internet’s favorite WASP, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. My favorite thing about Carolyn’s style is that it reads very much like what any of our moms were wearing in the 90’s. The beauty in this is apart from a shift skirt from mom’s closet, the heirloom watch I was gifted on my 18th birthday, or that tortoise shell headband I snagged from her bathroom in the early aughts we have the paps to thank for Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s style time capsule. Some great news, in light of the pervasive nature of a serious lack of privacy of those leading public lives. Considering San Francisco has such an interesting winter climate, many of these looks could easily pass on a warm day in the City by the Bay. Think: white after labor day, and flip-flops in February.
