The Ballpark Back 9 at Oracle Park

I have to start by saying that I have some amazing friends. Will my wedding have an open bar? Absolutely. Party favors too probably.

Getting the girls together to socialize at Oracle Park’s premier golf event, the Ballpark Back 9™ presented by The Bay Golf Club, was the best idea I’ve heard in a long time. For this event the ballpark was transformed into an interactive one-of-a-kind 9-hole golf course available for five days this year November 13th-17th. From each tee box positioned in the most iconic ballpark locations we tee’d off and tried to land our shots onto greens on the field. Caddies were stationed at each hole and provided excellent guidance apart from the gentlemen on one hole that wasn’t aware we had dogs in the fight and were actively betting. The 10th hole featured the coolest putting challenge. Which was a pretty rad step up from mini golf. As an added bonus, we were be able to access The Gotham Club - the event’s Clubhouse. This exclusive ballpark space, typically reserved for members only, offers swanky lounge spaces, the best warm pretzel I’ve ever had, and TVs to catch the evening’s basketball scores.

As far as the play; I chucked the ball, shanked it, didn’t make contact. You name it. What I could achieve was a Splash Ball on the 5th Hole - 127 Yards- Brew with a View. Olivia actually bet Samantha $100 bucks to make it happen. Easily achievable, all bets are off - keep the cash. After making it successfully into McCovey Cove, and receiving some genteel golf claps on Hole 6 - 144 Yards- Trouble With The Curve, I can sleep easy for the rest of the year.

Liquid courage from the 5th Hole. I’ll never say a bad thing about domestic beer, ever again. An ice cold heavy pour never hurt anybody.
